Google to launch music search??

A lot of rumors are saying that Google will have a big announcement on Wednesday next week. MTV.com and Wired.com are saying that Google is hosting a launch event next week to present the music search that will work the same way as the image search work. When you enter a musician’s name you will be able to see official streams and downloads.

This sounds like a great new addition to the search engine and a natural way forward for Google. Microsoft striking deals with Twitter and Facebook yesterday and Google ads music to its search next week – a lot going on in the world of search!
